Accounting and Payroll Administration

The Accounting and Payroll Administration diploma program is a comprehensive post-secondary training designed to prepare students for a variety of careers, including roles such as Financial Assistant, Audit Assistant, Bookkeeper, Payroll Administrator, and Accounts Manager. The program offers an in-depth understanding of accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll principles, along with the legal and ethical foundations of business operations, Canadian tax law basics, and office administration procedures. Students will develop practical, job-ready skills through hands-on training with widely used software applications, including SAGE 300 ERP (Accpac), SAGE 50 (Simply Accounting), QuickBooks Pro, and Microsoft Office, with a focus on advanced Word and Excel, as well as essential features of Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook. To further support students in their professional development, the program includes Employment and Student Success Strategy courses. Guided by experienced NACPT faculty, students will receive coaching in resume and cover letter writing, practice mock interviews, and develop self-awareness and self-management skills through applied, real-world scenarios.

JOB ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (OPTIONAL)

NACPT offers its unique job assistance program for all graduates. Being a part of the program will allow the graduates to work with an industry professional, individually, to obtain the maximum job opportunities in the market. As part of this program, the career development team will help each NACPT graduate tailor the resume, prepare candidates for specific job positions, conduct mock interviews, connect with industry experts, and have exclusive access to the hidden job positions. Every qualified student will receive references on particular projects completed under this program. You will also have the opportunity to with NACPT alumni working in pharma or related sectors. NACPT has designed this Job Development Program to help the students prepare a career plan knowing the industry better through expert advice.
